    South Tyrolean specialities at the Mitterhofer Guesthouse in Scena

    Breakfast

    Start the day sitting in the sun, surrounded by a magical mountain panorama – that’s how we usually start the day at the Mitterhofer Guesthouse in Scena. Have breakfast on our sunny terrace or in the cosy breakfast room and enjoy the delicacies from our rich and vital breakfast buffet. You will be spoilt for choice: tasty homemade products with fresh ingredients from our garden, freshly baked bread rolls from the local bakery, crispy croissants on Sunday mornings, homemade jams and freshly squeezed juices, a large selection of cold cuts and cheese, creamy yoghurt and South Tyrolean muesli as well as milk, eggs and South Tyrolean speck from our farm and fruit and vegetables from our garden - everything's organic of course! What would you like to drink? A cup of South Tyrolean herbal tea or a good Italian coffee?

    Dinner

    In the evening, we spoil you with plenty of delicacies à la Mitterhofer. From Monday to Friday our junior chef Franzi prepares tasty dishes with top-quality local ingredients. Most of the products and ingredients used come directly from our garden and organic farm, the other ingredients are sourced from local farmers. Are you ready for a full immersion into the South Tyrolean culinary tradition?

    Good things from the farm

    Fruity jam, delicious juices, smoked South Tyrolean speck and Kaminwurzen, fresh fruit, crunchy vegetables, fragrant herbs… everything is homemade or comes directly from our garden and farm!
    Come and take a look behind the scenes of our farm and participate in making dumplings, milking cows, harvesting fruit and vegetables or smoking speck. We always appreciate your precious help!
